Can we talk about something that’s been driving me a little bit crazy?

There’s this weird culture of secrecy that’s developed around AI, this unspoken rule that if you’re using it in your business you should keep it quiet, hide it, act like every piece of content and every strategy and every email came straight from your brain with zero assistance, and honestly, I think that’s a whole lot of nonsense.

I’m not into gatekeeping, I never have been, and I’m especially not into gatekeeping something that could genuinely change the way women run their businesses.

Why Is Everyone So Secretive About This?

I get it, sort of, there’s a fear that if people know you’re using AI it somehow diminishes what you’ve built, like the work is less yours, or less valuable, or that you’ve been cutting corners. But here’s the reality: using a tool to amplify what you do has never made the work less real, and it’s never made the person behind it less capable.

We don’t whisper about using Canva to design graphics, or hiring a bookkeeper to manage finances, or scheduling posts with a social media tool – those are just smart business decisions, and using AI is exactly the same thing. It’s infrastructure, and a remarkably powerful system, and the idea that you should be embarrassed about using it well is something I genuinely refuse to get behind.

Here’s What We’re Actually Talking About

AI can free up an enormous amount of your time and mental energy, it can help you produce better work faster, it can hold the details and the strategy and the content load that currently lives entirely in your head, and it can do all of that for less than $100 a month. So the question I keep coming back to is: why are we still doing things manually when we don’t have to?

Not because we love the manual work, not because it’s better that way, but because somewhere along the way someone decided that struggling through everything yourself was a badge of honour, and using help, any kind of help, was something to hide.

I disagree with that pretty strongly.

This Is Exactly What I’m Here For

Her AI Authority™ exists because I believe in talking openly about how to actually use AI in your business – not in a theoretical, surface-level, here’s-a-list-of prompts kind of way, but in a real, practical, this-is-how-I-run-multiple businesses-and-here-are-all-my-secrets kind of way.

I’m not hiding the fact that I use AI every single day across everything I do, I’m not pretending my output is purely manual, and I’m not treating it like some competitive advantage I need to protect. I’m teaching it, openly, because the women I work with deserve to have access to the same tools and systems that are making a real difference in how I work.

You can use AI to do more, to do it better, to free yourself up for the things only you can do, and none of that is something to be ashamed of, it’s something to be strategic about.

The Shift I Want to See

I want us to stop treating AI like a dirty little secret and start treating it like what it actually is: a legitimate, powerful, accessible business tool that levels the playing field for entrepreneurs who don’t have the budget for a full team but have all the ambition in the world.

Using it doesn’t make you less talented, it doesn’t make your work less yours, and it doesn’t make you a fraud, it makes you someone who’s paying attention, and that’s exactly the kind of entrepreneur I want to be in a room with.

So no, I’m not gatekeeping this. I’m opening the whole thing up, and I’d love for you to come in!
